On Thursday afternoon our cross country runners made the journey to a freezing cold Melbourne Park for the final meet of the season. The boys were filled with nervous energy as the conditions looked to be very tough with a lung burning cold wind and very muddy terrain.
As always the team outdid themselves and supported each other wholeheartedly. Most of the children recorded a personal best. Special mention has to go to Gregory who has put in a lot of hard work to record his first win and also to Jack , and his 'never give up' attitude, that saw him finish 14 places better off than last time. Well done boys.
