On Thursday we had an exciting Roman Day. In the morning we were Roman soldiers. We trained to fight, we made mosaics out of pieces of stone called tesserae, we learned how to make a clip to hold your toga up, we created herbs and spices to smell, we made medicine to heal the wounded, we made wax tablets to enter the Roman army, we made pottery to put oils in and finger protectors for firing the bow.

After lunch we travelled to the future and we were digging up artefacts from the past.
