Quicksticks Hockey Competition

We took two teams to Chelmer Park on Wednesday for the Quicksticks Hockey competition. The event aims to give children of all abilities a chance to compete with other schools and the majority of our children had very little experience beforehand. This made their performances all the more impressive. There were 31 teams in all and two separate competitions took place. Our teams came 4th and 12th in their respective pools - a fantastic achievement.

All 10 players showed huge improvement from the beginning of the event to the end. Lewis Wilson proved himself a possible England Hockey player of the future and Adam Lines showed an amazing, postitive attitude and displayed great leadership for his team.
