On Wednesday we went to the East Anglian Railway Museum. I was in Mrs Partridge’s group. Inside a shed on the platform we split our class in half. One half was Mrs P and Mrs Thornhill and the second half was Mrs Eggleton and Senora Meares. Our group did a magnetic test. It’s where you take a magnet, put it on your hand and place something magnetic underneath your hand and then let the magnet float. Next we went to the old, not working signal shed. Everyone had a turn at pulling the levers, even the teachers! Afterwards we had a look at the old animal carriages and the goods shed getting prepared for the beer festival. Then we had a toilet break and we got to eat lunch on a double decker bus.
Then we went to the model place and saw a massive miniature railway, had a look at the Thomas trains and finally went home.
