The idea behind Small Great Things is to empower children and young people to help others in their school and community, simply by doing something which may seem small, but can make a BIG difference to someone else.
It is a child-led initiative and our SGT Champions are   Maddison, Mya, Ruby and Caitlyn who have already worked really hard to think about how to spread the message across our school.
A huge well done to Maddison and Ruby who led the Assembly on Wednesday morning to  introduce the idea to the whole school.
To involve everyone, the children in KS2 spent a lovely, creative afternoon painting stones with inspirational words or messages. The stones look amazing and will be displayed in school before having pride of place in our new ‘Quiet Garden’ which will be developed soon.
The children in Reception and Years 1 & 2 will paint their stones after half term.

Many thanks to FOTS for donating the money which enabled us to buy the acrylic paint pens and varnish.
