Summer Fete 2016

After many weeks of planning, the summer fete was held on Saturday 2nd July. It was a brilliant turn out made up of pupils and residents alike.

The bouncy castle, slide, vintage fire engine and tractor rides were a hit with the children, as was the traditional tombola.

For the grown ups there was a BBQ and beer tent. Amongst the children's favourites there was face painting, name the (gigantic) teddy and hook a duck to name but a few.

We even had our very own Terling bake off with two worthy winners receiving a prize! We were treated to a wonderful performance by the school's pop choir, led by our very own Mr Sime, and later a karate display in which our headteacher, Mrs Smart, took to the floor!

We finished the afternoon off by squeezing into the gazebo and taking shelter under the trees while the raffle was called (in the rain), but even that didn't dampen our spirits!

With thanks to all staff, teachers and parents who contributed and helped to make it an enjoyable and successful event.
