On Friday 11th October, ten children took part in Maldon RFC's annual tag rugby competition.
We qualified from our pool with 2 wins and remained undefeated until the very last game; succumbing to the eventual champions by a last second try. We finished joint 2nd overall and the children displayed great skills, leadership and sportsmanship.
Well done to all the children and a huge thanks to Coach Stu for organising and, through his after-school club, preparing them so well.
Adam was voted 'player of the tournament' by the rest of the team for the help he gave his teammates, his attitude and for 'just getting on with it'. Well done Adam.
