Last Saturday (10th November 2018), Mr Yeldon led a one-off, Tango-sponsored, 3-hour lesson devoted to poetry, here at Terling Primary. Fellow wordsmiths from Year 5 and 6 classes in nearby schools were invited to join Joshua Franklin and Ruby Hawthorn-Meares from Terling Primary to run amok with obscure vocabulary, recite full-throttle iambics, and take on the challenge of writing in poetic forms they've never encountered before. Kudos to all the young poets for helping poetry to thrive!
