On Wednesday afternoon the school had a virtual assembly presented to them by Braintree Council recycling team.
The ladies spoke to the children about recycling, reducing waste and single use plastics. The children shared their knowledge and the routines in their homes.
Mr Sime has organised a competition for the children to write a persuasive letter asking pizza companies to make a change to their takeaway boxes to enable them to be recycled.
A template has been sent out via ParentMail and we hope that you can encourage your child to take part in this event.
