World Religion Day is celebrated every January on the third Sunday of the month. The aim of World Religion Day is to promote understanding and peace between all religions, encouraging people to learn about other faiths and their followers.
This year we celebrated this event virtually by teachers reading a story to their class via zoom assembly.
Mrs Partridge and Ms Bacon both read ‘The Crying Camel’, an Islamic story about Justice.
Isabella from Fardings shared the Babylonian Story of Creation with the rest of her class.
Leylands had a class quiz/game about identifying the different places of worship, leaders, religious texts and festivals for the 6 main world religions.
