Key Stage 2 English Collaboration

Friday 17th March saw Key Stage 2 working collaboratively during English in order to share ideas and make suggestions, on how to improve each other's work.

The Year 3 children shared their writing about 'The Iron Giant' with those in Year 5. The Year 4 children also impressed their peers in Year 6. During the lesson the children discussed their work and how to improve it. The peer reviews went very well with the children suggesting language features that would improve the work; including extended noun phrases; helping with spellings and discussing the correct form of grammar for the texts purpose.

Every child enjoyed the experience and have asked for the opportunity to repeat this activity next half term.
