On Thursday Year 1 and 2 had a brilliant day learning at Colchester Zoo! We saw some amazing animals including giraffes, elephants, komodo dragons, wolves as well as dart frogs! This is because our learning this half-term is about Paws, Claws and Whiskers. As part of our learning we had a talk about colour and camouflage. We heard about some extraordinary ways in which animals use their bodies to hide and protect themselves.
