We held a 'Read, Write, Spell' session for parents on Tuesday, where the parents of Year 1 and 2 children could see how Spelling is taught in Key Stage 1. After a coffee, Ms Wilby and Mrs V shared the progression of the Spelling programme and answered any questions. After that, the Year 2 children became the teachers and showed their parents, grandparents or even the parents of their friends how they do many different spelling activities, including 4 in a row. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and we hope the parents did too!
