Year 2 - 3Tees Cricket Competition

Eight Year 2 children took part in a 3Tees cricket competition on Tuesday morning at Saint John Payne School in Chelmsford. It was a good opportunity to take part in a sport that the children haven't had much exposure too yet but they took to it like ducks to water - smashing balls left, right and centre and working well as a team. We won our first two games and qualified for the final pool games where we came up against some tough opposition, eventually finishing 3rd overall. Well done children.

Special thanks to Adam, Ruby and Samuel from Year 5 who attended in their roles as Bronze Ambassadors. They helped officiate and encouraged the younger children and were given a big cheer at the end from all of the competing children for their help.
