Year 3/4 had a wonderful day at Barleylands farm. We learn all about the process of farming and how our food goes from the fields to our forks.
We started our day by making pizzas from scratch, we then had lunch and went on a tour of the farm where we got to pet and feed the animals.
After that, we went on a tractor ride across a field to learn about the harvesting process.
As you can see from the pictures, we had a great day and there were lots of sleepy children on the coach home!
