On Monday, Year 3/4 visited Hadleigh Park, where we travelled back in time to the Stone and Iron Ages. It was a day filled with hands on, information packed activities. All the children enjoyed themselves, while gaining a deeper knowledge of our topic. Isabella thought, “The best part of the day was the archaeological dig, where we found pottery and big bones.” While James W. “Enjoyed warrior school, where we got to use slings, swords and shields.” Freja particularly enjoyed, “Making clay pots, as it was good to feel the clay.” Albert however, “Liked looking inside the roundhouse, where there were swords and tools.” What an amazing day for us all!
