Our Year 5/6 Tag Rugby team travelled to Southend Rugby Club on Tuesday to take part in the County Finals. We started the tournament fantastically well and very quickly secured a place in the 2nd round of the competition. Again, the team put in some terrific performances but unfortunately it wasn't quite enough to qualify for the semi finals. However, the team should be very proud of themselves, having finished in the top 10 out of the 400+ primary schools in Essex.
Many thanks to Mr O'Donoghue for coaching the children to the finals and again on the day. Special mention to Greg for dishing out his emergency Jelly Babies to help the team (and Mr Sime & Mr O'D!) through any energy dips on what was a very long day. Well done team!
