Our year 5/6 performance was based on Edith’s Wartime Scrapbook. The year 6’s played the main roles but most of us had to take on two or more roles. The play told the story of the Coleman family’s experience of the second World war. As well as the acting, we had to sing plenty of songs. My favourite one was ‘Journey on a Trail’. My favourite part of the story was when home guard 2’s back acts up.
We put on three performances so that parents could watch and remain socially distanced.
